No-cost technical guidance to landowners interested in managing habitats for wildlife on private lands. In addition to technical assistance we will attempt to acquire cost-share and incentives through federal and state programs such as CRP, WHIP, EQUIP, LIP, and the Partners Program for the landowner to conduct management activities.

15 - 20 minute programs on topics including the following:

Thinning, burning, and herbicide applications to improve pine stands for wildlife (Quality Vegetation Management)
The importance of prescribed fire in habitat management
Using selective herbicides to improve wildlife habitat
Managing habitats for bobwhites
Quality Deer Management
Managing idle woodlots for wildlife
Managing upland hardwoods for wildlife
Native warm-season grass establishment and management
Establishment and management of wildlife food plots
Controlling invasive plants
