Julian Watson and his family's tree farm will be featured on Farmweek, the weekly television show produced by the Mississippi State University Extension Service. The Watson land was some of the first placed in the USDA's "Conservation Reserve Program" in the 1980's. Watson says the decision to plant it in trees has proved to be the farm's salvation.
