- Advocacy: MFA protects landowners from burdensome laws, taxes, and regulations. MFA's lobbyist works to protect property rights and to fight environmental over-regulation.
- Education: MFA provides resources to its members with the most up-to-date forestry information and educational materials. Members receive Tree Talk magazine, Voice of Forestry e-newsletter, MFA Legislative Bulletin, and continuing education opportunities. - Outreach: MFA educates the public on the social, ecological, and economic values of forestry and natural resources within our state. Outreach areas include Teachers Conservation Workshops, Wood Building Promotion programs, Project Learning Tree, Mississippi Children's Museum, Mississippi Museum of Natural Science, Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum, and County Forestry Associations. |
