Over the years, MFA has asked members what the most important reason for MFA membership is and the overwhelming response has been related to advocacy.  In 2015, the MFA Board of Directors voted to begin the process of forming a political action committee and MFA affiliated with the Mississippi Forest Sustainability Political Action Committee (MFS PAC).  The MFS PAC aids MFA with current advocacy efforts.
